ROAD SAFETY COMMITTEE



Statistic show that many hundreds of kids are being injured every day due to road accidents. Being unaware of the road safety rules, inexperience and carelessness are the main reasons behind the situation. Just like parents at home, teachers should take the role at school to teach students about road safety and best practices.

    Some of the most important road safety rules were taught to students to assure their safety on roads

  • Know your safety signals
  • Be careful while crossing road.
  • Always pay attention and listen to warnings.
  • Never run on busy road.
  • Always use side walks.
  • Ride Bicycles carefully.
  • Never multitask while walking on road.
  • Taught them to use the pedestrian crossing.

    To aware the students about road safety we keep organised different programs and competition with the help of the Delhi Traffic Police officers.

  • Summer Camp – Students participated in summer camp for five days run by Traffic Police to aware them about road safety, Disaster management, fire safety, earthquake etc.
  • Workshops were organised time to time for the students to make them understand about road safety rules by school.
  • Painting, Slogan Writing, Quiz and Essay writing competitions were organised in school premises for the students.
